Matt Brems is Principal Data Scientist, Technical Excellence & Product with DataRobot and is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at BetaVector, a data science consultancy. His full-time professional data work spans computer vision, finance, education, consumer-packaged goods, and politics. Matt earned General Assembly’s first “Distinguished Faculty Member of the Year” award out of over 20,000 instructors. He earned his Master’s degree in statistics from Ohio State. Matt is passionate about mentoring folx in data and tech careers, and he volunteers as a mentor with Coding It Forward and the Washington Statistical Society. Matt also volunteers with Statistics Without Borders, currently serving on their Executive Committee and leading the organization as Chair.
